It’s often said that finishing is part art and part science. This session focuses on real-world experiences solving finishing challenges with 1L cement, exploring its interaction with air, water, curing methods, admixtures, and changing weather conditions. Attendees will see practical examples of solutions across various climates and with different local materials. Evaporation rates and how they impact finishing will also be discussed. 

Join presenters Darrell Charlton & Josh Sullivan with 1L Solutions as well as an Introduction and Overview of Concrete/Cement Resources from the Kentucky Concrete Association, and the South-Central Concrete Education Council.
